What Is the Hybrid Battery Protection Plan?

The Hybrid Battery Protection Plan is a preventative programme included with every Toyota and Lexus hybrid service carried out at Creganna Motors. It is designed to protect the most valuable and complex component of your hybrid vehicle — the high‑voltage battery.

Rather than waiting for a warning light or performance issue to appear, the Protection Plan allows us to assess battery condition early and confirm that the hybrid system is operating correctly at the time of service.

How the Protection Plan Works

During your scheduled service, we carry out a professional hybrid battery health check using specialist diagnostic equipment. This assessment looks at:

Battery state of health
Cell or module balance
Battery temperature and cooling performance
Hybrid system fault codes

If the hybrid battery meets our required health criteria, the vehicle qualifies for the Hybrid Battery Protection Plan.

What the Protection Plan Includes

✔ A documented hybrid battery health check
✔ Confirmation that the hybrid system is operating correctly at the time of service
✔ A 12‑month or 15,000 km Hybrid Battery Protection Guarantee (whichever comes first)
